Edge was not in Chicago for WWE Raw because he was in Tampa, Florida, for a Toronto Maple Leafs playoff game.
He wasn’t by himself.
Edge and Christian reunited for the fourth playoff game between the Tampa Bay Lightning and the Toronto Maple Leafs, and the two of them definitely encouraged the Leafs to a comeback.
With little over 10 minutes remaining in the third period, the Leafs trailed the Lightning 3-1. Matthews scored again before Morgan Rielly knotted the game with four minutes remaining to force overtime. For the Leafs to complete the comeback, Alex Kerfoot would win the game in overtime.
The Leafs now lead the series 3-1 after winning Game 4.
Since 2013, the Maple Leafs have not won a playoff series.
While Edge hasn’t appeared on WWE television since WrestleMania 39, when he defeated Finn Balor inside Hell in a Cell, Christian has just appeared on AEW Dynamite alongside Luchasaurus.
