IMPACT Wrestling News & Notes:

Mike Johnson reveals on PWInsiderElite:

-D’Lo Brown was back at the most recent Impact Wrestling TV taping working as a Producer. We haven’t heard if he’s back full-time with the promotion yet but was universally loved during his last run.

-Former Impact Wrestling star Melissa Anderson (known in the ring as Cheerleader Melissa, Alyssa Flash, Raisha Saied) received a tryout as a Producer at the last set of TV tapings as well.

-Expect Sheldon Jean to become a regular for Impact and kick off a new storyline on next week’s TV episode. He debuted on TV last night and is former Big Brother: Canada competitor.

-There’s been talk of Ace Austin & Chris Bey vs. Speedball Mike Bailey & Jonathan Gresham as a program, which sounds awesome on paper.

-There will also be a focus on Frankie Kazarian in the weeks ahead, so I’d expect him to end up as a challenger to Steve Maclin down the line.

Sheldon Jean took on IMPACT Digital Media Champion Joe Hendry last night on IMPACTonAXSTV. He fell short, but looked good in defeat. Sheldon has randomly popped up in the promotion previously, but it’s great to hear that he’ll be a regular going forward.

Mike Bailey & Jonathan Gresham have been both opponent and partners over the past few months, including Rebellion, where they battled against each other and Trey Miguel for the X Division Title, and then teamed with each other this past episode on the weekly IMPACT show.
