Zelina Vega did not find out until the last minute that she would be replacing Elektra Lopez.
Since joining the faction, Zelina Vega has been on fire with the stable, garnering more fan support with their recent face turn, and it appears she will face Rhea Ripley at Backlash.
While speaking on the Out of Character podcast, Zelina Vega talked about joining Legado Del Fantasma. She would reveal that she found about joining the faction only a day beforehand.
“I mean I was surprised if I’m being honest, it was a surprise for me because it wasn’t exactly the plan. It only became the plan literally the day before. But for me I was like ‘ok, this is like a whole new challenge’.” Vega added: “Of course for me I’d love to see all of us draped in gold because that’s the vision that the goal right there.”

As mentioned previously, it appears Vega will be challenging for championship gold at Backlash. We will have to wait and see what comes next for Vega in the now named LWO faction.
