Nia Jax Says Charlotte Flair Is Helping Her Lose Weight

Lina Fanene (a.k.a. Nia Jax) has announced that she dropped 48 pounds in the previous six months and credits former “WWE SmackDown” Women’s Champion Charlotte Flair for her success.

“Me to @MsCharlotteWWE after her wedding: ‘I feel gross & uncomfortable! I want to lose weight,”

@MsCharlotteWWE to me: ‘Please let me help you! You got this woman’ Officially started in October…6 months later, down 48lbs. Sends me killer workouts and motivates me.”

This report also contradicts the earlier rumor that the two ladies did not like each other in real life, which they both officially denied in the past, with the two of them becoming friends following Fanene’s exit from the company in November 2021.

It’s unclear whether Fanene’s recent weight reduction has anything to do with her return to full-time professional wrestling, but she has stated that she’d be open to exploring joining AEW. She made an unexpected appearance earlier this year in the 2023 women’s Royal Rumble match. Despite this, and despite the fact that WWE even issued new gear for her, she never returned on a full-time basis.

Fanene’s Royal Rumble outing is the first wrestling match in which the former “WWE Raw” Women’s Champion has wrestled after her departure from WWE, and she has previously stated that it is “highly unlikely” that she would consider competing again.
