GUNTHER will be looking to defend his championship on next week’s Friday Night SmackDown.
Gunther has been champion for a long time, as pointed out by Xavier Woods on this week’s SmackDown. Woods would defeat LA Knight on the show before bumping into Imperium backstage, where it would be decided that Woods will challenge for the championship on next week’s SmackDown.
We will have to wait and see if Woods can capture his first singles title in WWE, but he certainly has momentum heading into his title match next week.
