Chris Jericho makes a point about Jay White passing on WWE in favor of signing with AEW.

The multi time world champion has always been vocal about his support for AEW since signing with the promotion and has often taken shots at WWE when he’s felt like it and now, has decided to comment on the recent free agency of “Switchblade” Jay White.

Speaking to Tim and Eli on Battleground, Chris would discuss the negotiations Jay White held with WWE and AEW, mentioning WWE had the former IWGP Heavyweight Champion “on a silver platter.”

“Jay White, what a great example of us still having momentum. Hottest free agent in the world. Silver platter for WWE. The guy is 6’4”, he’s international, he has the accent, which chicks love. He’s a great worker, great heel, great babyface. He chose AEW. If that doesn’t tell you that something is going on with us, I don’t know what will. Just to continue to build that momentum is a very exciting prospect,”

Jay White made his AEW return last week, assisting Juice Robinson in a beatdown of “Absolute” Ricky Starks. We will have to wait and see what comes next for The Bullet Club in AEW.
