IMPACT Wrestling Announces New Matches, Reveals Fifth Member of Team Dreamer For Hardcore War at Rebellion
Over the last few days, IMPACT has taken to their social media Twitter account to announce a few new matches for Rebellion, one of which will be a defense of the Knockouts Tag Team Titles, as The Coven (Taylor Wilde & KiLynn King) put their titles on the line in a rematch against the Death Dollz (Rosemary & Jessicka).
KiLynn King first debuted in IMPACT and, ironically, took on Taylor Wilde in a match for BTI – Before The Impact – back in December of 2022.
King returned to the company on March 9th when she aligned herself with Wilde to ambush Killer Kelly in the ring and form a team, later named The Coven. That same night The Coven challenged the Death Dollz for a shot at their IMPACT Tag titles, which would he held the following week. On March 16th episode of IMPACTonAXSTV, King and Wilde – known by this time as The Coven – captured the IMPACT Knockouts Tag Team Titles.
Former IMPACT World Champion, Bully Ray, returned to the company back in October of 2022, and since his return…his old friend, Tommy Dreamer, had been his biggest advocate in the company. Bully spent months trying to convince the IMPACT locker room that he had changed and wasn’t the same person he used to be.
On March 24th at IMPACT’s LIVE Sacrifice event, Tommy competed against Bully in a Busted Open (first blood) match. Bully won after busting Tommy open and some shenanigans, including the Good Hands (John Skylar & Jason Hotch) made their way out to help Bully.
Following the event, a 5 on 5 Hardcore War at Rebellion was agreed to by both men. Bully filled out the rest of his team with Kenny King and Masha Slamovich, and Tommy added Yuya Uemura, Killer Kelly, & Frankie Kazarian, with one open spot still remaining.
Tommy convinced Bhupinder to join his team.
Following that conversation, Gujjar is being part of the team is made official:
On last week’s IMPACT episode, a combination of The Design and/or Callihan jumped the Director of Authority Santino Marella and left him laid out. His “assistant” Director of Authority Dirty Dango and Joe Hendry found him and helped him up.
The match was made official – IMPACT Digital Media Champion & Director of Authority Santino Marella will be teaming up with Dirty Dango to take on some combination of Callihan & The Design.
