IMPACT Wrestling Announces Last Rites Match Between Eddie Edwards & PCO for Rebellion
Eddie Edwards & PCO have been battling each other for months, and now – hopefully – the story will come to an end at Rebellion in a Last Rites Match.
Eddie has managed to get help with his beatings of PCO. A few weeks ago, he and Kenny King beat PCO down. This past week on IMPACT, Eddie and PCO were having a match when Alisha came down and interrupted. She ended up hitting PCO with Kenny, the kendo stick, and allowing Eddie to get the advantage which led to the victory. Both were celebrating in the ring when PCO got up and chased them both through the backstage area. They got to the parking lot and PCO almost caught up to them before they sped away.
The Last Rites match is one of TNA / IMPACT Wrestling’s more infamous match types, as the winner was determined by placing his opponent in a casket that was raised to the ceiling after the match. This version of the Last Rites match was only held once in the promotion’s 20-year history, with Sting facing off with Abyss at TNA Destination X in 2007.
