Johnny Gargano returned during Grayson Waller’s segment with Shawn Michaels at NXT Roadblock this week. The former NXT Champion was introduced as Waller’s opponent for NXT Stand & Deliver by the Heartbreak Kid himself. Gargano entered the ring and almost took out the arrogant Aussie with a super kick.
Gargano took to Twitter after the show to react to his WWE NXT comeback. The Rebel Heart dropped cam footage of Candice LeRae and Quill who were at ringside to support Gargano for his epic return to the white and gold brand.
Grayson Waller said Johnny Gargano made the biggest mistake of his life after his arrival. The two are set to collide in what would be Gargano’s first match on WWE NXT in 15 months at NXT Stand & Deliver.
