Bobby Lashley Was Legitimately Frustrated With A Lot Of Things During His Mid 2000s WWE Run

During the mid-2000s, Bobby Lashley was considered a future world champion, drawing comparisons to Brock Lesnar. Despite showing immense potential, Lashley’s time in WWE was underwhelming, leading him to explore a career in Mixed Martial Arts.

Speculation circulated about the reasons behind Lashley’s WWE exit, given his involvement in several high-profile storylines during his tenure.

While speaking on Something to Wrestle with Bruce Prichard, the WWE executive revealed that Bobby Lashley was unhappy with his position in the company and believed that leaving was the only solution to his problems.

“Bobby was just unhappy. I think that Bobby was frustrated with where he was at the time, and Bobby was just frustrated with a lot of things. He was not happy. Wanted to leave, and that was a point where if you’re unhappy, and you don’t want to be here, okay, let’s work something out so you can leave. It was as simple as that.”

We will have to wait and see how the company will book their feud in the coming weeks.
