Switchblade Jay White bid NJPW farewell, and he wants to make a moved to the United States. There are two options for Jay White, WWE and AEW, that have become natural front-runners.
It was also noted in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter that while nobody in WWE would comment on Jay White’s situation, they are looking at someone even bigger internally that is the current priority. This seems to be the company’s primary focus at the moment, and not Jay White.
It is not clear what is next for White, although one would suspect WWE or AEW would be his next destination, because nothing else would make sense. Those in WWE who would normally know of major acquisitions during Mania season didn’t know about this one and only said that there was a much bigger major free agent in play right now that was internally the priority.

It will be interesting to see who WWE can bring in this time around. That also begs the question of which free agents are out there with a bigger name value than the former leader of the Bullet Club. This situation could obviously be filled with a few twists and turns along the way.
