WWE has a hefty price.
The rumors of WWE selling have been swirling for a while now. But, ever since Vince McMahon has come out of retirement and back into the swing of things, selling talks have amped up. Now, Bloomsberg is reporting that WWE wants $9 Billion for the company. Bloomsberg went on to say that the company has already received offers but the potential buyers have requested that they not be identified because the discussions are private. WWE also declined to comment.
The list of potential buyers for the WWE includes Endeavor Group Holdings Inc., the owner of Ultimate Fighting Championship, as well as investors from the Middle East who have already made major investments in golf and soccer. $9 Billion is a big price for the company and it’ll be interesting to see if anyone bites on that price.
