Jeff Hardy Could Still See Jail Time In DUI Case As Plea Deal Could Not Be Reached

We have the latest on Jeff Hardy’s DUI trial.

PW Insider reports that Jeff Hardy’s pretrial hearing is still set for February 23rd. At one point, there was talk about a possible plea deal in court records, but it appears that the two sides did not come to any sort of agreement.

He is currently slated for a pre-trial hearing on 2/23 in Florida that is listed as a case management conference. There had been a mention previously in court records of the two sides trying to come to some sort of plea deal in regard to his DUI arrest, but nothing official has been reflected in the court records.

Jeff Hardy was also popped for driving while license canceled/ suspended/ revoked and violation of restrictions placed on driver’s license. This is not a good situation for him at all, and he could possibly see jail time. The 45-year-old Hardy’s primary charge is “a felony under Florida law, punishable up to five years’ imprisonment, should Hardy be convicted.” All of his other charges are misdemeanors. Jeff Hardy filed a written plea of not guilty filed with the court on June 28th 22. This was followed by Hardy’s attorneys waiving his right to a speedy trial in July 2022.

We will have to see if Jeff Hardy makes his way back to AEW television any time soon.
