Otis Challenges “Studs” Of NXT

Otis made his debut at an NXT house show on July 8, 2016, teaming with Adrian Jaoude in a loss to The Authors of Pain (Akam and Rezar). That loss didn’t weigh him down as Otis went on to become one of the hottest tag team wrestlers on the gold brand soon after.

While speaking to Wrestling Inc., at the WWE-hosted Special Olympics training event during Royal Rumble weekend, Otis weighed in on possibly returning to NXT in the near future.

“I don’t have beef with you until you get in the ring with me. It could be. We said always, if you want to have help, have help, but there’s a lot of studs on the NXT too. Like I said, if they want to come up tomorrow, come anytime to the main roster, bring it.”

Considering The New Day’s recent 56-day title run as the NXT Tag Team Champions, it shouldn’t be out of the question for Otis and his current partner Chad Gable to make their way down to the gold brand and compete against the youngsters of the next generation.
