Seth Rollins Profusely Apologized To John Cena After Breaking His Nose In 2015

On the July 27, 2015 episode of RAW, Seth Rollins infamously broke John Cena’s nose during a match by accidentally kneeing him in the face. Three months later, Rollins’ finishing move, the Buckle Bomb, became a topic of controversy when Sting suffered a neck injury while taking the move during a match.

While speaking on CBS Atlanta 92.8’s The Game Mornings, The Visionary talked about his major accident. Rollins revealed that he profusely apologized to Cena after breaking his nose.

“I apologized profusely. John Cena and I wrestled a million times and every once in a while you’d get a clunker in there. But this one was just, for some reason, I just made real contact with his face, and rearranged it pretty bad.”

Cena did not get mad at Rollins and the two clearly got along right after the incident. Regardless, Seth Rollins is much more mature as a performer and fans all around the world respect his ability now.
