Kurt Angle and Goldberg may have been top stars in WWE at the same time but they did not face in one on one competition.
The only time they were in the ring together was during the 2004 WWE Royal Rumble match. While speaking on The Kurt Angle Show, Kurt Angle talked about never facing Goldberg. Angle stated that he believes he’d never have a good match with Goldberg.
“Oh! Listen, man, he brings it! This guy, he is all strength and power, and he used every bit of it. I don’t even know if he knows how to let up. I mean, this guy is one stiff son of a gun! But rightfully so. I mean, that’s what he was taught at WCW. He’d only have two/three-minute matches, you know? So, he was a dominating wrestler.”

We will have to wait and see whether Goldberg will return to WWE this year.
