Jay Briscoe Passes Away At 38

Jamin Pugh, AKA Jay Briscoe has passed away at age 38.

One half of the reigning Ring Of Honor Tag Team Champions, Jay Briscoe has sadly passed away on January 17, 2023. AEW President Tony Khan officially announced the news that Jay had tragically passed away, also noting that he’d do whatever it takes to support the family.

Jay, alongside his brother Mark Briscoe have held the ROH Tag Team Titles 13 times. Jay has also been a former ROH World Champion. Adding to their illustrious career, Jay and Mark also held championships in the likes of NJPW, IMPACT Wrestling, GCW and many more. They also won the NWA Crockett Cup in 2022. 

Jay Briscoe passed away in a car accident in Laurel, Delaware, on Tuesday afternoon, and two people were killed in the crash. The Delaware State Police confirmed the news.
