Chris Jericho’s appearance at the PWG show was widely regarded by the fans and talent that worked with him.

However, on being asked about Jericho’s appearance by co-host Conrad Thompson, Ric Flair stated that a company like WWE would not endorse something like this. He further elaborated that he has not even heard of PWG during the latest episode of his To Be The Man podcast.

“No. Because they’re the WWE [laughs]. Why would they endorse something else? I mean, I get it. First of all, I’m the first to say I don’t know everything, but I’ve never heard of the company you’re talking about. They may never have heard of me, but I don’t think that’s the case [laughs]. Right now, I’m focused on the fact that two hours of Flair is worth more than two hours of live TV [in reference to his ‘To Be The Man’ Peacock documentary].”

Chris Jericho teamed up with the members of his Jericho Appreciation Society, Daniel Garcia, Sammy Guevara, Matt Menard, and Angelo Parker, to defeat the team of Player Uno, Kevin Blackwood, SB KENTo, Jonathan Gresham, and Michael Oku. This marked Chris Jericho’s first wrestling match at an independent show in years, unless you count his Rock n Wrestling Rager cruises.
