Ken Shamrock Says No One Tried To Shoot Fight Him During His Run In WWE

Ken Shamrock is one of the few stars to be both successful in a wrestling ring and in mixed martial arts. While he has yet to be inducted into the WWE Hall Of Fame, there is a belief it is only a matter of time.

Impact Wrestling Hall of Famer Ken Shamrock recently sat down with The Charlotte Observer to discuss his time in professional wrestling and his thoughts on the current state of the industry. During the interview, Shamrock addressed a rumor that had circulated for years about an incident in which he was challenged to a “shoot fight” by another wrestler while working for WWE.

“I’ve heard that rumor too. But the truth is, nobody ever tried to get into a shoot fight with me in WWE. I was always a professional and treated my opponents with respect, and I expect the same in return. If anyone had tried to step out of line like that, they would have quickly learned that I don’t play games when it comes to real fighting.”

Shamrock, who is widely regarded as one of the pioneers of mixed martial arts and is a former UFC Heavyweight Champion, has always been known for his tough and no-nonsense approach to competition.
