Molly Holly Blames Short Attention Spans For Her Short Hall Of Fame Speech

The WWE Hall Of Fame class of 2020 and 2021 were both inducted during WrestleMania weekend last year. Over the years, WWE has mixed feelings regarding which Hall of Famers they allowed to have a long speech and which they did not.

Molly Holly was among those who had a shockingly brief speech, amounting to a mere two minutes. While speaking during a K & S WrestleFest virtual signing, Molly Holly explained why WWE cut down the Hall of Fame speeches last year, as she blamed people’s short attention spans.

”They were wanting to change it to be a little bit more like the Academy Awards, to follow suit of what pop culture expects from award ceremonies,” she said. “Plus, people’s attention spans are shorter, so they just wanted shorter speeches to reflect what other award shows do.”

We will have to wait and see whether Molly Holly ends up competing at next year’s Royal Rumble event, as fans would love to see her again.
