Wardlow has beaten numerous top stars in AEW so far. Due to his near-limitless potential, many believe that he is certainly destined for greatness. This especially means becoming a big deal in the pro wrestling world. He recently lost the TNT Championship at AEW Full Gear but is expected to stay a prominent member of AEW TV.
While speaking on AEW Unrestricted, AEW President Tony Khan stated that he believes Wardlow’s could become the future of pro wrestling.
I believe Wardlow probably, in many ways, has a good a chance to be the future of pro wrestling as anybody,” Khan said. “He’s someone we really see as a star for the future here, and is a homegrown star.”

We will have to wait and see whether Tony Khan’s prediction will turn out to be true in the end.
