It doesn’t look like we will be seeing the return of the former SmackDown star anytime soon.
When Apollo Crews turned heel during the Thunderdome era, he would also bring in some muscle in the form of Commander Azeez. However, once Crews returned to NXT he turned babyface and Azeez was left in limbo.
Fightful Select now reports that WWE have no immediate plans for the former RAW Underground standout.
When we last asked, we weren’t told of any imminent plans for Commander Azeez.

Azeez last competed for WWE back in July on NXT, with his last main roster appearance being a squash match vs Omos in March.
