It looks like WWE had serious plans for Malakai Black if he were able to find his way back to the company.
Black got his conditional release from AEW recently and with it came much speculation and reports that Black was on his way back to WWE now that Triple H is in power. There were many who doubted these reports, with Black outright denying them.
Now, Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter reports that while it is obviously not happening now, Black was scheduled to be a part of the new Wyatt 6 faction lead by the returning Bray Wyatt.
There was talk of Malakai Black for the Wyatt6 group in WWE.

Black was teased during The White Rabbit storyline with a QR code leading to a page with lyrics from Black’s WWE entrance music.
