It looks like some of the best in the independent scene from Canada.
Canadian talent who have made waves will get their first shot in AEW as they look to make their mark on the wrestling industry. Fightful Select reports several first time AEW appearances will be coming from significant independent talent from the Canadian wrestling scene.
AEW is in Canada for the first time, and will get some looks at a lot of Canadian talent. Fightful Select has learned at least three names that are set to be at the tapings as extras. TikTok and social media stars the Voros Twins are set to be at the show, and were photographed with Chris Jericho on Tuesday night. In addition, we’ve confirmed that independent wrestling standout Jody Threat was booked for the tapings as far as a couple of weeks ago. Jody got a WWE tryout during Summerslam week 2019, and had helped Trish Stratus prepare for her in-ring return.

Time will tell how these appearances will go for the talent involved, but this is certainly a huge opportunity for the talent involved.
