IMPACT Wrestling Knockouts World Champion Jordynne Grace Talks a Different Match She’d Like to Try
Jordynne Grace has never shied away from different match types, and in this instance, even suggests one she’d like to try out.
Grace has cemented her legacy within the company by becoming the first-ever Digital Media Champion, competing for the X-Division title, and participating in the inaugural Knockouts Ultimate X Match in January of this year. Speaking with WrestleZone, Grace revealed that there is another match she would love to take part in.
“Yeah [competing in Lethal lockdown] would be awesome. I would also love — I don’t even know when the last time they had this match was, but Elevation X, do you remember that? I would love to compete in an Elevation X Match. I think that would be really, really cool,” she said.
Elevation X was basically a glorified scaffolding match which pitted two superstars several feet above the ring in which the only way to win is to knock your opponent off and them fall into the ring. Elevation X occurred only twice, once in 2007 and once in 2008.
“It’s been so long. It’s probably a logistical thing at this point, just getting everything set up. It’s probably one of the more difficult matches to set up. But I would definitely love to compete in one,” Grace concluded.
Jordynne Grace is set to defend her IMPACT Wrestling Knockouts Title against Masha Slamovich at IMPACT Bound For Glory.
