The Rock Reveals New Detail About “The Smoothest People’s Elbow Ever”

It doesn’t matter how expensive those sunglasses were!

One of the smoothest examples of The Rock’s signature move, The People’s Elbow, occurred on a random SmackDown in the early 2000s. With The British Bulldog laid out in the center of the ring, The Rock would take off his sunglasses, untuck is shirt and deliver a people’s elbow where he would slide across the ring into the drop.

The Rock took to Twitter on Saturday and revealed that the sunglasses he casually tossed into the crowd were prototypes.

But what was even smoother was my merchandise manager telling me before the match, “Rock these are prototype glasses that were very expensive to make. We have only ONE PAIR so PLEASE don’t throw them out to the crowd tonight”
