Gameplay Footage Of AEW Fight Forever From Tokyo Games Show Leaked

Footage has leaked of in game content in the AEW Fight Forever build playable at Tokyo Games Show.

At Tokyo Games Show, a playable demo of AEW Fight Forever is available for those attending. Of course, this is not the final build of the game and footage of the content is usually prohibited. However, some footage has managed to find its way through the cracks and we now know more about the game.

The clips were shared by @MonsterBrunch on Twitter. You can see the clips below.

The first clip is a short four second clip where CM Punk hits the GTS on Kenny Omega. The animation for the finisher is solid, with the throw up being slightly cartoonish due to the games mechanics. The sell after the impact is also solid, with Omega slowly collapsing to the floor much like many of Punk’s opponents have in the past.

The second clip features Paul Wight landing his chokeslam finisher on CM Punk. The chokeslam itself is accurate to how Wight tosses his opponents in the canvas, with Punk’s body bouncing up off the canvas briefly. @MonsterBrunch also noted that Wight is very fun to play with, remarking that you can feel his weight and power. Also included is his size prevents opponents from lifting him for a move without a high spirit meter.

The final clip posted by @MonsterBrunch was of Hikaru Shida. They also noted the match was full of reversals, dives, high flying moves and eventually, the match ended in a count out.
