It looks like Adam Cole’s concussion is far worse than fans thought.
During the ending of his match at AEW Forbidden Door, Adam Cole was clearly out of it to an almost terrifying degree as the match ending worried a lot of fans. It was revealed afterwards that Cole had suffered a serious concussion and is still not medically cleared to get into the ring.
Now, it looks like Cole will be out past the next AEW PPV, Full Gear, which is still two months away. Dave Meltzer noted Cole’s absence from the promotional material for Full Gear in the latest Wrestling Observer Newsletter.
Not that it’s a surprise, but also no Adam Cole which tells you the severity of his concussion since that show is still two months away.

Cole last appeared on AEW TV as he and ReDragon turned on The Young Bucks, laying them out on the August 3rd edition of Dynamite. With Fish leaving AEW, O’Reilly undergoing neck surgery and Cole still being hurt, it is likely that this storyline will be abandoned whenever Cole is fit to compete again.
