IMPACT Wresting Review 9/8; Shane Taylor, Yuya, and Aussie Open Debut
Before the IMPACT (pre-show) kicks off with Shane Taylor making his IMPACT Wrestling debut against Decay’s Crazzy Steve, escorted to the ring by Black Taurus. Shane looks good in his debut, but after a solid 10 minute bout, ultimately falls to Crazzy Steve.

Match 1: NJPW Strong Tag Team Champions – Aussie Open (Kyle Fletcher and Mark Davis) vs Bullet Club (Ace Austin/Chris Bey)
Aussie Open win the match after an incredible display on both sides.
Backstage segment with Honor No More (OGK, Eddie, King). King talks about himself wanting to add X Division gold soon to the group.
We go backstage next to Gia standing with the Good Brothers – Karl Anderson and Doc Gallows. They talk about losing the tag titles last week, and are interrupted by Motor City Machine Guns, who propose a “first-time-ever” match next week, and challenge the Good Brothers to a match. It’s made official.
Match 2: Mickie vs Raychell Rose. Mickie makes quick work of Rose for the victory. This was Mickie’s first match back on her “Last Rodeo” tour to work her way back up to the top of the division and ultimately another IMPACT Knockouts World Title shot.
Backstage Scott D’Amore is speaking to Mia. Kenny King interrupts and shews her away and bitches about the situation last week where won and then had the match restarted. Scott says Bailey will defend his X Division title against Mascara Dorada next week, and then a Scott will make an announcement…but in the meantime, King can take on a debuting Yuya Uemura next.
Gia interviews with Maclin. Maclin says there’s no alliance with Moose. Gia says next week Maclin and Moose will be teaming up to take on Decay.
Match 3: Kenny King vs Uemura; Mia comes to ringside to prevent King from cheating. Mia attacks King, Yuya wins as a result.
Sami segment hyping Barbed Wire Massacre match against Moose and Maclin at Victory Road on Friday, September 23rd.
Next, we see a hype segment advertising the new Joe Doering t-shirt. It was announced earlier this week that Joe would be stepping away from in-ring action due to medial reasons. 100% of the proceeds from the shirt go to Joe. The Bodyslam.Net staff would once again like to wish Joe Doering a speedy recovery.
We are then shown a brand new Violent By Design video where Deaner finder Eric Young in a random house. Deaner chooses to continue following Eric as part of Violent By Design.
Match 4: Chelsea w/ Deonna vs Taya w/Rosemary + Jessicka. After interference on both sides, Chelsea pulls off the victory.
Gia backstage interview with Grace, hyping her match with Masha at Bound For Glory; Masha leaves a message that says: “Masha’s gonna kill you” on Grace’s locker room wall.
We see a video with PCO & Vincent.
Match 5: IMPACT Digital Media Title Match – NOT a ladder match — Brian Myers vs. Bhupinder Gujjar. Match ends with Myers winning by DQ after he grabs the Digital Media Title in an attempt to use it, but Gujjar hits him in the head with the title and walks away with the Title.
Gail confronts Tasha and Savannah backstage with a request from Killer Kelly – wants Tasha on commentary during her match next week.
Gujjar and Myers are separated backstage. Scott takes the belt, announces a Digital Media title match for 2 weeks from now (9/22) episode.
Main Event: Eddie vs Heath. This match was much better then it was expected it to be. Eddie wins, of course. Eddie Calls out Josh after the match. Makes him pick a side – Josh says his side is whatever is opposite Eddie. Mike Bennett comes out and tries to ambush Josh, but it doesn’t work because Josh sees it coming. King comes out to help Eddie, Heath to help Josh. Swann out to help Josh and Heath. TAVEN out to help Bennett, King, and Eddie. Swann, Josh, Heath laid out by Honor No More. Maria walks out with tag titles over her shoulder. Eddie holds the IMPACT World title up over Josh as the show comes to an end.
