At AEW All Out, MJF made his long awaited return to AEW, revealing himself as The Joker, confronting CM Punk at the end of the PPV.
During a media scrum after the pay-per-view, Khan, alongside Punk, was asked about MJF’s return and the timing of it.
“I’m the one who asked him to comeback because MJF is a big star in this company, this is one of the biggest events. A year ago, CM Punk debuted here, and I thought it was right for the fans. For the fans, I thought the best thing we could do as a company is bring MJF back,”

After Tony finished, Punk also commented on MJF’s return.
“He wants me to work with pricks constantly, that’s what it is”

The pair are set to face off in a world title program as MJF won the Casino Ladder match to open the show.
