Eddie Kingston Discusses His Player’s Tribune Article

Eddie Kingston further discusses his mental health article in The Player’s Tribune.

Although Kingston revealed shortly after releasing the article that he felt a bit of added pressure, the 40-year old discussed the impact of his piece and how it has garnered attention towards him in a new interview with the Under The Ring podcast.

“Everybody was real positive about it. For me, I don’t like that kind of attention. In the ring I like attention when I’m in there fighting, but outside the ring I don’t really like attention. But getting the attention from that, knowing that people that I talk to are now open and talking more about their mental health to their significant others or family, that means a lot to me. I do these meet and greets and autograph signings for AEW and I have little kids or their moms & dads or anybody coming up to me and telling me that piece helped them or that they’re going through it, I tell them to just keep fighting. This is normal to me, mental health is a normal thing to me. That’s what I tell people.”
