“The Fallen Goddess” loved the chance to wrestle Swerve in an intergender match some time ago.
The two AEW stars went one on one a few short months ago and the match that they delivered was credited with being an incredible showing from both competitors. As of this writing Tony Khan has no intention on changing his mindset when it comes to intergender matches, but things could change in the future.
Athena took to Twitter on Wednesday and remarked that the match with Strickland was one of her favorites.
