Liv Morgan Reveals She Suffered With “Survivor’s Guilt” Following Ruby Soho’s WWE Release

Liv Morgan struggled when her good friend was released from WWE.

Ruby Soho never really got going in WWE. Debuting as part of the Riott Squad alongside Sarah Logan and Liv Morgan, she challenged for championships repeatedly, but could never quite make the jump to champion status in WWE. Since then, she has signed with AEW while Sarah Logan has retired. Liv on the other hand is the current SmackDown Women’s Championship.

While speaking with Ariel Helwani of BT Sport, Liv Morgan talked about Ruby Soho getting released from WWE. Morgan admitted that she suffered survivor’s guilt after Soho’s release.

Really bad. Really bad survivor’s guilt. I didn’t know what to do. And then going to work that first week was so weird. I walk in with Ruby every single day. We walk around the halls together. We’re together all the time. It was so weird. But then, you know, everything just kept moving. And she’s doing great. I’m so happy for her. Love you Ru. She’s doing great.”

Morgan is set to defend her SmackDown Women’s Championship tonight at SummerSlam when faces Ronda Rousey. Ruby on the other hand is currently involved in the Eddie Kingston – Chris Jericho rivalry, most recently losing to Anna Jay on Friday’s Rampage.
