Danny Limelight is coming to your streaming service!
Danny Limelight is a professional wrestler most known for working with NJPW Strong and MLW. Now, he’s going from the squared circle to a TV set as he announced yesterday he is going to co-star in the new Netflix show “The Brothers Sun.”
The Brothers Sun takes place in Los Angeles and Taiwan. It chronicles the struggle of Taipei gangster Charles Sun, the first Sun brother, as he journeys to Los Angeles to save his mother, Eileen (Michelle Yeoh), referred to as “Mama,” and innocent brother Bruce (Sam Song Li). While Charles Sun is a hardened gangster in his home country working for his mob-head father, Bruce Sun is living in Los Angeles with his mother with no idea that his family belongs to a dangerous gangster family.

Congratulations to Danny Limelight on securing the role. It’s unknown when the show will start to film if it hasn’t already, and also unknown if he will take time away from wrestling for this role. We’ll update everyone on any upcoming news about the show.
