Bill Algeo made sure he walked away today with a big win under his belt,
Herbert Burns came into this fight from a 2-year layoff and despite getting a tight arm-bar in the 1st round, he would use too much energy and it led to a tough time for the Brazilian.
The 1st round ended with Burns barely able to stand, the 2nd round would be the same result and it was enough for the referee to call the fight due to exhaustion and Burns knee.
Following the win, Algeo called out Chase Hooper who he referred to as “bird chest” It will be interesting to see the moves made for Algeo’s next fight.
