The UFC Hall of Famer had big praise to give to the UFC Featherweight champion after their successful defense last weekend at UFC 276.
During an episode of DC & RC (Daniel Cormier & Ryan Clark) on ESPN+, Cormier called Alexander Volkanovski the greatest Featherweight of all-time after retaining against Max Holloway this past weekend.
Volkanovski’s recent win made him 3-0 against Holloway in their trilogy. Since joining the UFC in 2016 we have witnessed Volkanovski go from 14-1 to 25-1 and since winning the championship he has defended it successfully against Brian Ortega, Korean Zombie and Max Holloway (2x).
The Featherweight champion also has wins over former title contender Chad Mendes and another UFC Featherweight great Jose Aldo who is also widely regarded as the greatest UFC Featherweight of all-time.
