The former AEW talent is planning on starting his own wrestling promotion.
Marko Stunt is a name that a lot of fans are not a fan of. Due to his less than average stature, many fans have trouble taking him seriously. Marko worked with AEW for quite some time, but would leave the company upon his contract expiring. Stunt was also mentioned recently on AEW Dynamite by Christian Cage. However, it looks like now Stunt will be trying something else besides just wrestling
Stunt told Steve Fall of NBC Sports Boston that he is planning on starting his own promotion in September. He also noticed that the promotion will be based out of Memphis.
“I think we’re starting here in September. We’re still trying to come up with everything and do everything. We haven’t released any posters or anything. That is coming soon. I am going to be starting up a promotion here. I also help out a lot with a show in Missouri, with the booker there. I’ve been getting into that role and trying to learn that type of stuff.”
“That is my biggest goal right now. Starting that up, getting it running, having a little bit of eyes on it. It’ll be cool once it starts going, I think it’ll have initial buzz once I announce it and hopefully, I can keep that up, not get that initial pop and not know where to go from there.”

Marko is clearly motivated to do well as a promoter in the industry. With his connections to AEW talent and otherwise, he could find himself booking quite a star studded roster of talent.
