Adam Cole is hurt and it doesn’t look good.
Adam Cole won the inaugural Owen Hart Foundation Tournament where he revived a championship belt and trophy but got hurt in the process. He then went on to AEW’s Forbidden Door to battle for the NJPW IWGP World Championship. It was said that Adam was going into that championship match hurt, and seemingly got hurt even more at the end of the match. Cole didn’t win the match, and now he may be out of action for the foreseeable future. On the latest Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer touched on Adam Cole’s status.
Adam Cole’s gonna be out for a while.

It’s unclear how long Adam’s going to be out, but hopefully he’s back before the end of the year. We wish Adam Cole the best on his recovery.
