Kurt Angle Believes Losing Talent To AEW Has Made WWE Rely On Older Talent Like Brock Lesnar

Brock Lesnar will continue to be one of the biggest stars in pro wrestling, but that doesn’t mean younger talent shouldn’t be pushed.

Since Brock Lesnar returned to the WWE in 2012, he has had an incredible decade in the promotion. Ending Undertaker’s streak, multiple world titles and a boat load of money later, Brock still remains one of the biggest draws in professional wrestling.

Kurt Angle was in a conversation with NBC Sports where he discussed how WWE rely on Brock Lesnar due to losing so much talent to AEW:

I think that has a lot to do with the other promotion starting to get some momentum behind them — AEW. You know, WWE lost a lot of talent to them. They’re looking at their NXT guys and they’re going to start making those guys pretty soon. I think that they do have a habit of going back to the older guys like Brock Lesnar.
