KUSHIDA Talks WWE Departure, Wanted A WrestleMania Match With Kyle O’Reilly or Bryan Danielson

KUSHIDA is back with NJPW.

Since KUSHIDA has left WWE, he has returned to NJPW. The former NXT Cruiserweight Champion quickly made his presence known upon his New Japan Pro Wrestling return. But, afterwards, KUSHIDA spoke to the media about his time in WWE and how he would’ve loved to wrestle at WrestleMania. Thank you to twitter user @CiaranRH93 for the quote.

The turnover of wrestlers in WWE is very fluid, I was left without a spot. Joining WWE was a dream of mine that I achieved, but I couldn’t make it to the main roster. I had a dream of wrestling Danielson and O’Reilly at ‘Mania, but I wasn’t able to achieve that dream.

– KUSHIDA

KUSHIDA has wrestled Kyle O’Reilly in NJPW and NXT, but seeing the match happen on ‘The Grandest Stage Of Them All’ would’ve been great to see. KUSHIDA has never wrestled Bryan Danielson. Hopefully we can see that down the line with the Forbidden Door cracked open, there’s a big possibility.
