NJPW’s G1-Climax is back this summer, July 15, 2022 with an action packed tournament. Previously, NJPW announced who was in the tournament but now, they’ve announced each block. There will be four blocks consisting of seven competitors each. Whoever wins each block will go on to face each other until we’re down to two men and we crown a G1-Climax Winner. The blocks are as followed:
A Block:
Lance Archer, Jonah, Toru Yano, Kazuchika Okada, Tom Lawlor, Jeff Cobb & Bad Luck Fale.
B Block:
Taichi, Tama Tonga, Tomohiro Ishii, Jay White, Sanada, Great O’Khan & Chase Owens.
C Block:
Kenta, Zack Sabre Jr, Hirooki Goto, Hiroshi Tanahashi, Tetsuya Naito, Aaron Henare, EVIL.
D Block:
El Phantasmo, David Finlay, Yoshi-Hashi, Will Ospreay, Shingo Takagi, Juice Robinson & Yujiro Takahashi.
A deep field this year as we get wrestlers representing NJPW plus the likes of AEW with Lance Archer or NJPW Strong in America with Tom Lawlor & Jonah. It’s sure to be a action-packed tournament which you can check out July 15th on NJPWWorld.
