On June 15, 2022, Raj Giri reported that Sasha Banks has been released from WWE. PWInsider reported today that she was still on the WWE roster.
Lots of unknown and confusion regarding Sasha Banks status with WWE, but today, WWE added more fuel to the fire when they digitally removed a Sasha Banks sign from their image gallery. You can see below on a tweet from fightful.
As you can see, during Raquel Rodrigues vs Shayna Bazsler, a fan in the front row held up a sign for Banks, but in post, it was blanked out.
Very interesting behavior from WWE. Obviously there’s still a lot of question marks surrounding Sasha Banks, but this sure gives off the impression that she may be out the door. We will keep you updated on all things involving the Sasha Banks situation.
