At AEW X NJPW Forbidden Door later this month, Thunder Rosa will put her AEW Women’s Title on the line vs Toni Storm. Of course with NJPW not having a women’s division, there is no crossover matches to be had involving the two companies, but that doesn’t mean that fans can’t expect Rosa to be involved in a crossover match.
A new report from Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter may be on her way to to Tokyo Joshi Pro Wrestling as AEW Women’s Champion:
“There has been discussions regarding Thunder Rosa coming to Tokyo Joshi Pro as AEW champion.”

There are several wrestlers in the Joshi promotion that would lead to fantastic matchups, including the likes of Maki Itoh who Rosa has faced in the past. Rosa is a former champion in the promotion also, so it may be to Tony Khan’s advantage to send Rosa to have a title match in Japan.
