GLORY Terminates ALL Russian Athletes Contracts, including Light Heavyweight Champion Artem Vakhitov, Announces Vacant Light Heavyweight Bout for GLORY 81

Glory Kickboxing released a statement today where they announced the termination of ALL Russian athletes, including their Light Heavyweight Champion Artem Vakhitov who was originally scheduled to defend the strap against Luis Tavares before it was scrapped.

In the statement released by GLORY Kickboxing:

The company then announced that Tavares, who was scheduled to fight then-champion Vakhitov will noe be booked against Sergej Maslobojev for the now vacant Light Heavyweight Championship on August, 20th at GLORY 81 in Düsseldorf, Germany.
