Khamzat Chimaev Says “He Won’t Be The Same Diaz Anymore” After Talks Of Potential Nate Diaz Battle

Khamzat Chimaev has been the talk of the town for the last few weeks, as he’s taken to social media to call out the likes of Nate Diaz & Belal Muhammad. As of now, no fight for Khamzat is set in stone. But, he recently sat down with The BlockParty Podcast and had a few things to say about Nate Diaz.

No, It’s never been close [to a done deal], the skinny boy, when u said let’s fight, I was good weight, good shape, and now I’ve been lifting weights, I go up like three kilos. Now he says let’s fight… I don’t care, I’m going to cut my weight and fight with him if he’s ready. I’ll smash that boy, he won’t be the same Diaz anymore.

Khamzat Chimaev is currently undefeated at 11-0, with his most recent win coming via decision in a all out war with Gilbert Burns in April. Khamzat is currently ranked the #3 Welterweight in UFC, whereas Nate Diaz is not ranked. With #2 Leon Edwards getting a championship fight and #1 Colby Covington out of action, maybe a fight with Nate Diaz is on the horizon for Khamzat.
