Chookagian Out. Jessica Andrade in to fight Manon Fiorot at UFC Paris Card on September 3rd

The UFC”s September 3rd Paris card is rumored to have a new replacement for Manon Fiorot after Katlyn Chookagian was forced to pull out due to an injury.

This was first reported by Nolan King and Farah Hannoun from MMA Junkie, the bout is not yet signed despite the UFC’s announcement of it, verbal agreements are in place however.

Andrade, who is 3-2 in her last 5 recently got an arm-triangle submission in the 1st over Amanda Lemos, prior to that win she finished Cynthia Calvillo in the 1st with 6 seconds remaining by TKO (punches). The last loss Andrade had was against the current Flyweight champion Valentina Shevchenko at UFC 261 in the 2nd round for the title.

Fiorot (9-1 MMA, 4-0 UFC) has been on one of the fastest runs in the UFC and if the bout is signed for Paris, a win over Andrade could lead to her getting the next crack at Shevchenko’s Flyweight championship.

With the change, the UFC Paris lineup includes:

  • Ciryl Gane vs. Tai Tuivasa
  • Marvin Vettori vs. Robert Whittaker
  • Jessica Andrade vs. Manon Fiorot
  • Absupiyan Magomedov vs. Makhmud Muradov
  • Zarah Fairn vs. Ailin Perez
  • Alessio Di Chirico vs. Roman Kopylov
