Toni Storm Calls WWE “The Land Of No”

Toni Storm continues to talk her WWE exit.

Toni Storm left the WWE following her angle with Charlotte Flair on SmackDown following her main roster call up. Since then, she has signed for AEW and has been treated as a major star since debuting with the promotion. Storm has discussed her WWE exit at length and it looks like she will continue to.

While speaking to Chris Jericho on Talk Is Jericho, Toni Storm explained the main difference between working in WWE and AEW.

“Hey, I love it. I love it here because I have so much [freedom]. I feel like I have creative freedom. I feel like I can express myself more naturally. I feel like WWE is a bit of the land of ‘No’. Some people call it that. You’re just really told ‘no’ a lot. A lot of your ideas, your creativity is shut down. Not always, not for everyone. Just for some people. I should put it out there.”

“Some people just obviously can hack it there and that’s awesome. More power to them. But yeah, it’s really hard to compare. It’s really hard to compare the two except I just feel like I can work more organically here. I’m less uptight, therefore I can perform better.”

Toni is clearly happy that she is no longer in a work environment like the WWE’s and prefers working for AEW. Time will tell if she will reap the rewards of signing with AEW and become the AEW Women’s Champion.
