Ronda Rousey Was Falsely Advertised For Hell In A Cell
This isn’t going to go down well.
In a time where WWE have buried Naomi and Sasha Banks for taking an advertised moment away from fans, it now appears WWE have once again been hypocrites. Rousey is the current SmackDown women’s champion and is expected to next defend her championship vs Natalya.
On today’s Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer discussed Rousey’s exclusion from the event. Ronda was advertised locally in the Chicago market for Hell in a Cell. Ultimately, WWE did not book her for a match.
“They took Ronda off the show and she was advertised locally. They could’ve put her on, but as we talked about this morning, for whatever reason, the decision was made to hold that match off. They’ve got to put a card together for Vegas, I guess, so maybe that’s where they’re going to do that, or who knows what?”

What do you make of this decision by WWE to falsely advertise one of their biggest stars? It certainly comes at an interesting time following all the criticism lumped at Naomi and Banks from the promotion.
