Former WWE Superstar Cameron Accuses Cody Rhodes Of Faking Injury

We saw an interesting turn of events.

Conspiracy theories in wrestling are very common, considering the amount of effort that goes into keeping kayfabe and reality separate, we have seen several storylines lately blurring the lines between real and work. Most notable is the fact we saw MJF blur the lines with a promo on AEW Dynamite that is constantly still being talked about.

While speaking to SE Scoops’ Steve Fall, former WWE Superstar Cameron was asked whether she thought the injury was legitimate or not. Then she called out Rhodes for faking the injury.

“Dealing with wrestling, there’s always gonna be major injuries. Everyone always says it’s fake, ‘Oh my God, wrestling’s not real.’ But it is very real. Him showing up [injured], I don’t know, I started to learn with WWE and wrestling, what is real and what is fake? What’s to get people intrigued? Because, at the end of the day, this is still entertainment.”

Of course, anyone could see that Cody was clearly injured with severe damage to his pectoral tendon. Cody would wrestle a great match despite having very little movement in his right arm thanks to the injury.
