In December of 2021, Johnny Gargano would part ways with the WWE at a time when he wanted to focus on his growing family. Since he left the promotion, fans have speculated that he may go to AEW but now it seems the door will remain open for a possible WWE return.
During the latest issue of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, it was noted that Gargano has an “open door” to make a WWE return.
“Gargano has an open door to WWE but also the realization that he’ll be able to make money but not be pushed since NXT is focusing on younger people and while he may be able to get a main roster spot, it’s unlikely they’ll do anything with him. “
